I have always wanted to get into rc plane design. I love watching channels like rctestflight, and want to learn the skills to design stuff like they do.

So, rather than waiting for it to magically happen like i normally do, i have actually started researching and fiddling around. I present my first iteration and my current iteration. I know they are jank, but I am really happy with how they turned out, and how they actually fly.

A non controllable, hand thrown glider made from paddle pop sticks for the body, an index card for the tail, and 3d printed parts and a laminated sheet make up the wings. Blutak and a coin make the weight at the front of the plane. It ala sits on a green cutting mat in front of a paper cutting machine. This is the current iteration

JUST IN: “A suicide note was allegedly found next to Boeing whistleblower John Barnett who was found dead in his truck with a gun in his hand

A hotel staff member found Barnett after someone contacted the hotel for a wellness check on him.

Barnett had his "right pointer finger remaining on the trigger" with a "gunshot wound near his right temple," according to the police report.

A "white piece of paper that closely resembled a note" was on the passenger seat next to him. 1/3

need more information about what happened to John. The Charleston
police need to investigate this fully and accurately and tell the public what they find out. No detail can be left unturned."—r/t by @colinrugg

“‘Finger on the trigger’ is a red flag. In the majority of gunshot suicides, the gun is found nearby BUT NOT IN THE HAND OF THE VICTIM. This suggests staging, and by someone who is not familiar with crime scene forensics. Very suspicious.”-@Ry Brooks

“My gauges just kind of went blank on me,” said the pilot of a 787 Dreamliner that plummeted downward for terrifying moments.

According to passenger Jokat, the pilot said that he "lost control of the plane” until the gauges came back and the plane “reengaged back to its normal flight pattern.” Approx 50 passengers were injured. Much more to learn, but what is going on with your planes @Boeing ??

Cannot be answered correctly yet, but...

"As a ballpark, one researcher has suggested that per person, a flight is 50-100 times worse for the atmosphere than a long-distance flight."

Because:
"This is compounded by the altitude the gases are emitted at – a recent preprint (not peer-reviewed) study suggests that...

After Suffers A Blowout
A photo sent to Oregon's KATU-TV shows a gaping hole in the side of the airplane next to passenger seats.

Alaska Airlines blew out a window and a portion of its fuselage shortly after takeoff three miles above Oregon late Fri, creating a gaping hole that forced the pilots to make an emergency landing as its 174 passengers and six crew members donned oxygen masks.
