Applescript support in is pretty broken. One space, one window, three tabs open, but via Applescript it reports a list of 57 (!) dysfunctional Tab objects.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

You know, as a Linux user, I can't unfortunately try Arc Browser, so I came up with this:

Kolejne podejście do na . Niby to chromium ale podejście do używania całkiem inne. Ciekawe, na ile mi tym razem cierpliwości wystarczy. Używaliście?

Anyone I know using ? If you are, could you visit https://try.manyfold.app/libraries/1/models/1/model_files/1 and tell me if you see a nice boat or a mess of random triangles, please?

Fellow users, what spaces do you have?

I used to only have “🌙 Personal” and “🌞 Work”, with a few short-lived one-offs e.g. when researching some purchase or demoing some thing.

I recently split out a “🎩 Hat” space from the work one – the “hat” is our role for second-line support, monitoring exceptions and such. I think I like the separation so far – planned work in one space, monitoring and reactive work in another.

wzbudził we mnie nowe pokłady kreatywności.

Currently trying on and so far I love it.
Great new concept of a browser.
I love the spaces, shortcuts and the command bar.

Really good first version.

So, I finally got my invite to try out . First stumble was the startup:

It wants to create an account - I went to use a “Hide My Email” account email address, buuuut, it wants the email that I signed up to the invite for.

So…if you want to be cautious and use an alias/hidden email, do it when you sign up for the invite, cos you can’t after the fact.

On the plus side, it did a hilarious little musical startup at the beginning which was cute (YMMV), so there’s that.

Here's a full page screenshot of the (soon to be cancelled) "Accessible Overlays" panel by the at conference, in case you need this for your archive.

I do, cause I have an article coming up where I mention this and I'll need the proof. 😅 Screenshot was taken with and I'm a heavy user of this feature!

Working now with https://arc.net/ as my default browser on macOS for more than three months, and I already can't live without it. It really reimagined the browser without sacrificing the ecosystem. My fav plugins still work: Vimium (mouseless browsing ftw), Darkreader, Readwise, 1Password. The Browser Company really nails it. So happy to see people who are so dedicated to the little details 🙇 (anyone remembers https://littlebigdetails.com/ ?)

feature is all very well but like all , it's just making stuff up!

I got it to find out information about me, and it made up speaking engagements that never happened!

Been thinking about browsers and things...

The one thing which I do love about is outlined in green in the image below.

The fact that the webpage itself goes ALL THE WAY UP is something I love. Give me ALL the pixels to use for webbiness.

I've gotten used to left-side tabs now in , , and (especially) . I like them and I'm converted. Vivaldi lets you get really, really thin on the top, but not zero.

I don't like Arc's implementation of tabs and space, it's not my style. That left pane has so much wasted space. It's like it's made for a tablet.

@Vivaldi is there any chance this bug will get fixed?

https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/83612/bug-ctrl-tab-does-not-cycle-tabs-in-recent-order/56?page=3

Seems like it is not only me. Trying to ditch hard. Besides the things Arc doe better but I can get around (better "workspace" handling, better pinned tabs handling, better command bar), the broken tab navigation kills me. It feels more like a random tab picker than a tab navigation.

I'm happy to assist with whatever might be needed to get that sorted.
