Particularly the episode about autotune. I don't really know much about T-Pain as a person, but he comes across as very vulnerable talking about how people's response to his music affected him.

🧤Tonight I’m with other volunteers at the Malden Warming Center and want to share a message from Malden Cares team, who offer help with recovery support services.
“If you witness a person do a kind thing towards another person, write it on one of these slips and put it in this jar. Once a week we will pick one and give the person either dunks card or a Charlie card.” 🏆
It's strange, but I feel the overarching lesson of Twitter was "how snarkily funny can I be" whereas on Mastodon it's "how kind and generous can I be" and good lord I am so here for this change, even if it results in less clickbait and "engagement"

I must not leap to be be negative back. Maybe they just have too much stress today. If I have to I can block. In a world full of many dark corners, it’s inspiring to know that some people are willing to be kind just because.
My holiday season was pretty dark. I drank a lot and felt really depressed. Like many others, I’m sure. I posted that some folks need kind words during the holidays (https://mas.to/@markwyner/111616147194669734). Someone who didn’t know me, @shaknais, saw my post and made a note to include me in a holiday post. This meant more than they may have realized at the time.
Just wanna say I've given up some truly useful info from my carefully curated Twitter feed for plenty of delightful and charming toots on masto. Less for my mind, probably better for my heart. :blobcheer:
