The Meat Puppets finish their 14 song debut LP. Recorded in three days and under the influence of LSD. This is a 12” record that plays at 45RPM, which was kind of unusual at the time iirc. The Kirkwood brothers are near virtuosos, which you may or may not hear on tracks like their rendition of Tumblin’ Tumbleweeds or the song Meat Puppets. The album was released the following summer.
