Well well, what generosity: #Delta overbooked this transatlantic flight, people showed up in bigger numbers than expected, and now they’re offering a whopping $750 in gift card form (which wouldn’t be enough for a basic economy fare on this route in 6 months time, by the way) should anyone decide to give up their seat and spend an extra night in Minneapolis in a hotel room they’d have to book and pay for themselves.
