@kentbye@CatherineFlick@Gargron@aniho91 Many concerns with the concept of #Quote Toots as traditionally the tool was used to either pull incorrect context, use as a platform to disparage, and split a comment thread by creating a "new post" with a different audience.
#Mastodon has a big problem already with splitting comments just from a visibility/federation standpoint. Lots of concern from that without Quotes at all.
“The best way for you to become a better designer is not looking at Dribbble or Behance. It’s looking and playing with real products and seeing how they handle certain scenarios and flows.” — Denislav Jeliazkov
If you have some time this weekend, i strongly recommend "Cultish" by Amanda Montell. She harshly reviews languages used in cultish groups: religious ones, but also fitness, cross fit, MLM,social media, startups, etc.
It's funny, interesting, well documented, witty and super enjoyable ( exists in audiobook format as well)
“When the shimmer of the past is melting into the presence, spreading a scent of attentiveness and inquiringness, our mind may ask for a new reading of the story of our life.” ~Erik Pevernagie
The rain is chucking down like gangbusters so we had to play inside this morning. I think watching and participating in play with my dogs is one of the best parts of my day. Even when stuff is hard and scary or super stressful, dog playtime will always make me smile at least once. It is one of the reasons I'm grateful I get to share my life with dogs! Everyone should play, it's good medicine!
@Pawpower The more complexed the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play. #StarTrek#Quote
Glad you get to enjoy your doggos. I wish we had one.
