Two slightly different versions of Naomiki Sato's rose.
Sato adapted the famous Kawasaki's rose for a pentagonal paper sheet, which makes the rose much closer to the real one (the flowers of Rosaceae, the botanical family including roses but also apples, cherries, strawberries, apricots, etc, have in general pentagonal symmetry).
It is also my favourite origami rose of all. Easy to fold, easy to modify, plenty of possible variations, looks amazing.
Richly gifted by #nature. "Pierre de Ronsard" #rose. This #Meilland climbing rose from 1985 imitated historic roses and has a wonderful old-style scent of fruity flowers with a note of honey. In high humidity it is nearly white-greenish, in dry weather it opens pink. In Germany it is known as Eden 85 rose. #roses#roseslove#florespondence#bloomscrolling
Seconds later, it flew right up to within 3-4 m under the shade of a #rose#bush no doubt looking for aphids and I caught this rather contrasting, scary image of the same #bird as it might look to one of its tiny victims.
#OnMyWalk I found this amazing orange #Rose tree! And they smell marvelous! I could stay here all day! Have a great week! #SummerIsHere#BeKind#ReachOut#MaskUp Sending Love To You All🧡🌷🧡🦋🧡🎉🧡💐🧡🌷🧡🦋🧡🎉🧡💐🧡🌷🧡🦋🧡🎉🧡💐🧡🌷🧡🦋
A cloudy day snap from the "poorest premium phone camera" I reviewed of last year. When even the weakest cameras on our phones can turn out shots like this, I think we're in pretty good shape for mobile photography.
