Hey friends, does anyone know what either of these objects are?
(They were found in a deceased relative's jewelry box.)
Please boost for added eyes, thanks! 😊
The lettering on the object on the left says:
Hadley Made in USA
Both ends open up to 90⁰ and the main body expands and contracts about a centimetre.
A clever person has said that the object in the right is a Writescope telescoping mechanical pencil. Thanks!
@KarenDorman@sewing Without knowing the exact size, I'm going with money clip on the one. Fold your bills in half and flip the top and bottom down to hold the bills. And on the front there is the pocket clip.
Hey there fediverse. I found this thing in with my mom's sewing stuff. There's only one, it has a slit in the end with the circle. Any idea what it is? A bobbin? Floss spool? shuttle?

That was a great guess apparently Constanze.😊 @Agatha and a few others confirmed it. Thanks for your great response. I love your art and am happily following you now.
Holy f*@k - I did a Thing!
I inherited a part ball of variegated yarn - which I dislike using because I feel it's disorganized, chaotic and messy looking. But I've seen this thing done online and decided to spend a day screwing around and tried it. It bloody worked. (Eventually) I'm amazed. A combination of programming and sorcery.
Oh my, that certainly IS up your alley. (I just looked at your website ☺️) I watched YT vids + spent about 8 hours attempting and frogging before it worked. Two diff people here suggested "plannedpooling.com" and it is excellent. You enter the stitch counts and it figures out the rest. However, I feel somewhat robbed of my personal success in that the mental work can be done by that app. So I will def use it, but I'm not yet over the fact that it feels like cheating. 🤣
@crochet@sewing@KarenDorman haha, thank you (for checking out my website)! I’m excited to try the technique using plannedpooling.com. I think I came across it before but I never understood how it worked until I saw your post today and learned how you did the manual calculation. You should def take credit for that :)
