My excitement for Crow Country has both increased and decreased after reading James Stephanie Sterling's review on the game! It's a shame that the traps feel like a slap to the face cheap, especially when combat with Guests is balanced well.
@DesRoin Most demos wouldn't overwhelm the player with many mechanics, as it's suppose to be playable. Traps are a later on mechanic which are random and can cause so much damage; James mentions that there are traps that are hard to expect or even look for.
Traps cause too much damage vs Guests, making them a poorly implemented feature. Still the game embraces more of the good vs bad from classic horror games. They rated the game highly despite traps being a pain point.

For 2024 there are no plans for a 14" device with AMD dGPU. Sirius 16 will remain our AMD powerhouse for the foreseeable future. If you want to stay on top of things concerning TUXEDO, please subscribe to our newsletter. https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/index.php?module=newsletter
playing through Mass Effect 1 the last few days. Man, that game feels somewhat badly designed. It feels like it wants to be both a #crpg and a shooter, and it doesn't quite pull it off.
Also the Legendary Edition I am playing has so many spots that are too dark to see it feels like walking through the game blind at points. If I have to use the map to find the exit of the room there's definitely something wrong.
@kyonshi the Mako sections were very divisive but I loved them, the series leans harder into being a shooter in later instalments, it feels more polished but loses something in the story parts I feel
@kyonshi Hm. I really loved Wrex & Garrus right from the start, and Tali was fun, too. The human woman was grating with her space racism and the human man was actually pretty good, but took time to open up. The only crew member I never really liked was Liara - she was too fan-servicey for me.
Star Citizen 3.23
I can't even remember all of the features in 3.23, so here's a few I've personally encountered, as well as a few thoughts on one of the most controversial updates to the game, master modes. https://scopique.com/2024/05/14/star-citizen-3-23/ #Gaming#StarCitizen
Gaming friends: Braid, Anniversary Edition is out today! This version has fully repainted graphics, new puzzles, and added in-game commentary. When the game was originally released 16 years ago, it was designed for 720p, so I'm excited to see how much better this new version looks. It's available on Steam, Switch, Playstation, Xbox, and even Netflix. http://braid-game.com/#gaming#Braid
In the original Snatcher game on the PC88 youl'll see a logo that 'closely' resembles Konami, but wih the name "Joy Division". Pretty sure Hideo Kojima knew this band.
James Stephanie Sterling, I love to hear a great discussion about the state of certain things within gaming! Today, they've addressed that schlocky 80's horror films are being used as fodder for the latest tired gaming genre: Asymmetrical Horror Games.
