Slowly resurfacing from a brutal 2+ years of artistic burnout, and apparently my version of fanfic is art inspired by some of my favorite songs. God, I'm rusty. Also: God, I like some dark songs.
Anyone have any advice regarding Blender updates and backwards compatibility issues?
I've been trying to open a project that opens fine on 3.4 but completely crashes with no error message on 3.5. The only possible issue I can think of is that I have a hair particle simulation on that project compared to others on my system.

Here are the first shots from my personal #videogame project. Everything is still inside blender now but the goal is to get things into unreal engine 5.

It would be really nice if blender had the ability to highlight in red faces that aren't 3 or 4 sided (An "ngon highlight" view in the viewport overlays section.)
I'm sure I could make that pretty easily, but want to know if others feel like it would be useful. Right now, I'm manually selecting all N-Gons and then assigning them to a group, but it would be much more efficient for there to be a way to automatically highlight ngon faces.
