People like to say how it's so expensive to make video games today.

What makes it expensive?

Is it the high end hardware.

is it the fact that game devs like to make games 100gb+?

is it because voice actors want more money?

whatever it is, is it possible to get a good modern game that's atleast under 50 gb, that takes advantage of all the modern visual effects and graphic capabilities but not be so demanding and expensive making them?

It's funny because the newest call of duty is so big it had to be split up.

"Global crude oil prices could drop to about $60 per barrel by 2027 as growth slows, say oil analysts at Rystad Energy, chopping a third off next year's peak price as demand tumbles.

Their outlook is a reassuring message amid recent Wall Street analysts predicting up to $150 per barrel in the next two years. Rystad's long-term forecast calls for prices to peak next year at $91 per barrel before dropping to as much as $50."

cazabon,

What exactly is implied by that food for thought?

Rising prices are a normal market indicator of unsatisfied demand. And the normal market reaction is to increase the supply to try to meet that demand. Which is exactly what happened here...

I'm not sure why this particular chain of events is anything other than fully expected and realized.
