I feel like I occupy this weird place in the #startrek#fandom as a lover of the lore and details who wants an internally consistent secondary world, prefers when #canon is followed, and likes explanations like the #Klingon augmentvirus from #ENT while disliking reimaginations like in #DIS; while conversely thinking that trek is metaphorical and caring about whether a new star trek show's themes, plot, and character development are there and have anything to actually say or add.
As someone who struggles with anxiety, phobias, & existential dread, the absolute best approach I found is to channel my inner-Klingon.
Klingon's tackle each crisis, no matter the odds or how scary, together & as a "good day to die", you don't avoid, don't run away, you take it head on, with honor!
I promise, your anxiety monster won't know what hit it!
@mcts -- Posts a #Milwaukee County Transit System bus stop of the day
@TheHop -- Posts a Hop (Milwaukee's Streetcar system) stop of the day
@GMMKE -- Posts the weather and a live photo for Milwaukee every morning.
@MKELimerick -- Takes the weather for Milwaukee from two sources and then generates a limerick about the weather conditions in the voice of a 19th-century poet
@KlingonJoe -- Whenever I post anything from this account, it tries to translate it to #Klingon
After making the trans pride Klingon emblem for my profile pic, I thought I'd go ahead and do some others. Feel free to use as you wish. More to follow. #klingon#pride#startrek#lgbtqia
My neighbor gave me these two derelict machines. They’ve been sleeping with the critters in the shed for the past few years with no climate control. I’m going to try to clean them up and check for leaky capacitors before attempting to revive them.
