"I don't want it to get dark when I'm leaving work" okay then. Correct. Humans are set up to have fewer active hours during the short-light season. We should be working less!
We just have shorter light available when the planet is tilted in that direction, we're not making daytime longer by changing the hours back and forth. 🤷🏻♀️
(in most of North America) if you wake up today and your clock hasn't changed, it will say N when it "should" say N+1. In other words, careful not to be late for your Monday work/school/appts.
Also double-check international mtg times since most other DST countries won't switch for a few weeks.
I don't understand why we can't all agree that, in whatever time zone you live, we set our clocks to noon when the sun is at its zenith on the summer solstice? This jumping ahead & falling back is nuts. Even what we call it is nuts. There's only one way to save daylight & that's to use a solar cell to charge a battery. Well, I guess growing a plant saves daylight too. Changing our clocks in no way whatsoever saves daylight. It's a scam people!
My pup is doing an effective job of resisting the time change.
Guilt-inducing looks, nose-nudge alarm clock, deep sighs.
Impossible to explain that wake-up and mealtimes have been pushed up.
Hope everyone enjoys waking up at the usual time and hoping to fall asleep again for that extra hour, but ultimately just lying there awake until they finally just get up anyway.
