yes, there is a pretty constant expression in my timeline of the position that #KeirStarmer's Labour Party is a form of #Tory-lite one-nation centre-rightism... I'm not sure I totally agree (I think we need to wait to see what the actually do, not what they tell the right wing press they'll do), but I can see exactly what brings people to draw that conclusion!
So here's an interesting Q.: how much of the reported shift in public opinion on #Brexit (and thus on wanting to rejoin the EU) is driven by demographic change, and how much by a real change of opinion?
If older conservative (with a small 'c') Leave #voters have been dying off in the last seven years, and young more cosmopolitan voters coming of age, is the shift more about the changing make-up of the voting population than individuals actually change their minds?

It also begs the question, when will the clamour from younger now-able-to-vote #RejoinEU voters be judged to outweigh the proven votes of #Tory#Brexiteer older citizens?
Political expediency always trumps (sorry) any real beliefs or idealism in our sorry system, so when the tipping point is reached we might well see a significant and sudden change in the sloganeering.
While all the focus is on #Tory MPs quitting before the next #GeneralElection, there is a growing number of #SNP MPs who are also looking for the exit.
#MhariBlack is the most high profile to announce this, since former Commons leader #IanBlackford.
But why? Presumably, like the Tory MPs, they know there's a massive electoral drubbing on its way.
The interesting question is what Black will do next. #Holyrood, perchance?
Yet more data on the impact of #Tory defunding of the #NHS & its resultant crisis - there are many reasons that satisfaction with GPs is gallon (not least there are fewer of them & competition for appointments and thus delays for consultations are growing).... but whatever the structural reasons, it is pretty noticeable that it is only after 2010 that satisfaction level with GP lurched downwards....
Certainly reform of the system may be required, but the Tories can't/won't do it
