In 1993, Meat Loaf released his recording of I Would Do Anything for Love. It was an amazing track. The music video, directed by Michael Bay, was a wild Beauty and the Beast story.

Was playing The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles on NES for first time and noticed it felt kinda familiar. Then realised what it reminded me of and did some sprite comparisons.

It's a new week, so let's all discuss what we did over the weekend and what the week ahead has in store for us.
For me, it's the usual work stuff today. I didn't do much of anything over the weekend except go to dinner with my cousins fiance as he stopped by for a bit. Always good to see him as he's super fun to be around.
Played a bit of Ghost of Tsushima and Diablo IV, and was lazy all weekend.

The Konami Code was created by Gradius developers finding the game too difficult to play through during testing.
They created the cheat code, which gives the player a full set of power-ups (normally attained gradually throughout the game). After entering the sequence using the controller when the game was paused the player received all available power-ups. 🚀
...removed prior to publishing, but this was overlooked and only discovered as the game was being prepared for mass production. 😓
The developers decided to leave it there, as removing it could result in new bugs and glitches. The sequence was easy enough to remember for testers and simultaneously sufficiently hard to enter accidentally during the gameplay for unsuspecting users. ☄️
🕹️ Trivia about the game consoles of our childhood
I ended my #SeaOfThieves session around noon and almost logged off. Then I heard someone attacking my defenseless, empty ship. So I went there to greet my attackers, and I waved at them, which they thought was an invitation to kill me. I realized they had a ton of loot, so I respawned my ship and went back there to tell them that violence is not nice. So I sank their ship, killed both of them, and stole half of their loot, which they had failed to sell by that time.
