Just as the far right extremists are the biggest threat to safety in #Canada, the #Conservative party is the biggest threat to safety in #Ottawa. The NDP and the Libs are claiming trouble getting people to run because of the safety issues faced by those on Parliment Hill, caused by the Conservative Party and #Pollievre spreading extremist hatred

Dear US friends, 4th July is going to pass into British History as a day of liberation for us too. Liberation from the worst Government we have endured within living memory. Calling themselves the #Conservative Party, they proved to be a bunch of incompetent economically-illiterate nationalist populist buffoons. Up to their ears in the 'donations' of oligarchs, they confiscated our rights & insulted our neighbours.
We get to escape the rabbit hole. Please don't go back down it yourselves.
#Trump has a huge posse today, including #KashPatel; #GerryKassar, a #conservative party leader in NY; #BernieKerik, fmr NYPD commissioner who was imprisoned for tax fraud & false statements; #AlanDershowitz, lawyer who defended Trump during his first impeachment, & #BorisEpshteyn, legal adviser who was #indicted in AZ for attempts to keep Trump in power after the 2020 election.
This situation, to me, really showcases the #GOP/ #conservative mindset: they clearly don’t believe the rules should apply to them, and when the law actually does hold them accountable they look for loopholes and workarounds to allow them to keep doing the thing the law tells them they cannot do.
These folks should never be put in charge of anything.
