Good morning friends, happy Thursday! Sunshine and coffee are the only things keeping me going. I finally gave up and started my day at 3:30, and the dogs were not happy about it, they prefer 4:45. I'm hoping to keep my head down and phone on DND to avoid pesky salespeople. 😉
What's everyone else's day look like? Hopefully, it's more exciting than the salt mine I'm in. No matter what your day has in store, have the best one you can! 🌄🌞
Got panicky last night but instead of letting it build I took some emergency meds. Tried watching TV to distract while they kicked in, but it was a very tense police procedural and it just made me anxious. After panic then diazepam I fell asleep early and was out like a light for a couple of hours. Then I woke up and I’ve been awake since, tossing and turning. I’m not anxious or fretting about anything, just… very awake. Might read my lovely fantasy novel for a while #insomnia
I was just thinking (randomly) that if I ever had access to #StarTrek#Replicator technology, I'd use it to make crazy awesome impossible food mashups like a cheese apple:
Take an apple of your favorite kind (I'm partial to Jazz), and slice it. Take your favorite cheese (I'm partial to Tillamook Sharp Cheddar), and slice it.
Interlace the two, and enjoy.
Now, imagine biting into a crisp replicated apple, but inside of it is apple and cheese slices.
Good morning Mastodon, TGIF! My insomnia got me up at 3am which sucked but I did get this picture of Pixie and Mr Minx snoozing together and thought, there are worse ways to start my day. 🙂 Hopefully Friday flies by and we can start the weekend!
Have a great Friday! I might give HR the🖕and slip out early...
Exercising late in the day (like, within an hour or two of bedtime): worth doing, or is there too much potential for sleep disruption (ie too wired to fall asleep on time)? 🤔 #exercise#health#sleep#insomnia
I will be loading up on caffeine today. #Insomnia reared its ugly head last night, and by 3 am, I was wishing someone would knock me out with a frying pan. I wish I could say insomnia is from having too much to do. I do have too much, but I've had bouts of insomnia ever since I was a kid, so this is nothing new!
After a month of restful sleep my insomnia has started back up. It seems like every other month it switches. Waking up at 2:30am every morning sucks! I'm on day 3 of no sleep and my ass is dragging...
