Once again, @RickiTarr asks a question that sets #Mastodon ablaze- in a good way! Whatever your taste in #music, there's bound to be something here you'll love! https://beige.party/@RickiTarr/112428606621284011
RickiTarr@beige.party - Seriously heard someone saying they don't listen to many black artists, because they aren't really into rap. Bitch please, feel free to share songs from Black artists from any genre. Here is one of my favorites, if you like this song please check out her other work:
#silentsunday#reflections#Sunset#nature#meditation#peace To all my #mastodon friends: Today I celebrate #MothersDay ❤️ We come in all sizes& colors. Some have given birth in a physical way. Some have birthed in other ways. 🌈 We are a dynamic force around the world, helping keep things together with #love as sometimes that’s all we have. 💐🥰🌻
Is there a #Mastodon instance dedicated to amateur #running? Races, training, etc.
I need to get some thoughts and opinions on training and racing out of my head. I could post them here, but this instance is primarily dedicated to Free Software. Most of my followers are probably either expecting posts related to that or cybersecurity, math, science, cryptography, etc. IE, not running.
Posting to a fitness-dedicated instance probably makes the most sense. Or setting up a blog.
Can I disable this behaviour on #mastodon where it jumps to the next post when I press the Down arrow key?
It's infuriating, because every time I press the down arrow key, I actually want to just scroll a bit (usually to read the next line of the currently visible post). Like on pretty much any other webpage since the mid-nineties.
Istnieje jakaś sieć społecznościowa, albo frontend Mastodona, który działa bardziej jak RSS i pozwala mi wyświetlać nieprzeczytane wpisy i oznaczać je jako przeczytane? #Mastodon
@jens Eventuell bezieht Erik sich auf diesen offenen Issue bei #Mastodon.
Der angegebene Link zur #PostgreSQL-Änderung nennt das Fehlerbild ziemlich genau, aber keine Lösung dafür:
In new btree indexes, the maximum index entry length is reduced by eight bytes, to improve handling of duplicate entries (Peter Geoghegan)
This means that a REINDEX operation on an index pg_upgrade'd from a previous release could potentially fail.
