On Saturday evenings, Italian cities begin to wake up and people start to stroll through the ancient streets.
Gradually, the restaurants fill up and conviviality begins. All of this has been happening for hundreds and hundreds of years, in the same places, in the same establishments, at the same hour.
In the photo: the wine bar "al Brindisi" in Ferrara, originally "Hostaria del Chiuchiolino," which is the oldest wine bar in the world. The first written documentation dates back to 1435, a year in which the tavern was already famous.
