I've not posted this image on any other platform as yet, I guess I will tomorrow.

I don't think my husband (the photographer) has even got it on our website.

on the is well known for it's sunsets. This isn't a particularly colourful one but the light was lovely.

I remember chatting to a man down there about cameras and winging it a bit while Steve was busy doing all the work!

Oregon Coast Trail Section Hike: Day 1

Last night when I arrived, I pitched my tent at the hiker biker camp at Fort Stevens and then headed out for a sunset beach hike. Checked out the Peter Iredale shipwreck and hiked a few miles on the beach. Sunset was beautiful. Currently headed toward Seaside, Oregon on the beach.

Worth racing down the beach in my socks for

12-24mm lens on a Nikon Z6, processed in Darktable

Vibrant pastel sunset overa beach with figures in silhouette in the distance. Peachy crepuscular rays beam through a bright gap in an otherwise cludy blue-grey sky, and the horizon is a warm hazy yellow.
A sandy beach that's speckled with little pebbles leads to a flat expanse of ocean with small waves, under a cloudy pastel sky with the clouds lit in peach by the setting sun.
