Have you noticed Featured Hashtags on a person’s Mastodon profile?

Here's how to add them to your profile:

• Navigate to Preferences.
• Within Profile, locate Featured Hashtags.
• You'll see hashtags that you use frequently. Pick the ones you want to feature.
• Or type a hashtag of your choice, such as #Mastodon, and click "add new."

Your two most used #Hashtags will be featured on your profile. When people click on them, they'll see all of your posts about that topic.

➡️ @NewsDesk - General news service about current events.

➡️ @CultureDesk - Arts and entertainment news about music, film, food, theatre, books, travel etc.

➡️ @ScienceDesk - Science news such as climate change, health, space etc.

➡️ @TechDesk - Technology news including computing, the internet and current hot topics like AI etc.

Flipboard HQ is in the US, but it also has staff and offices overseas.

Today, we started @ScienceDesk, our fourth editorially curated account for #Science news, including #ClimateChange, #Space, #Health, etc.

The other three are @NewsDesk, @CultureDesk and @TechDesk.

With these desks we aim to make it easier to discover people and content in the Fediverse.

Besides seeing posts from Mastodon feeds, you can also boost, like and reply to them from within the Flipboard app. You can also add content from Mastodon to your Flipboard Magazines, and vice versa: share content from Flipboard with your followers on Mastodon.
