Is the answer to 'dental deserts' to force newly trained dentists to work for the NHS for the first years of their career (or to pay back the costs of their training)?

Well, unless Labour adopt such an approach we may never know, but the crisis in NHS dentistry might be alleviated by some form of national service requirement from dentists (alongside a better funding model!)?.

It may not be the best answer, but these are desperate times in dentistry.

Kept going even when Kissinger knew it couldn't be won. Throw a few more GIs into the death pit. My father suffered what would now be called PTSD after WW2. I had to teach my young grandchildren never to touch his head even he invited them onto his lap as it had bad results

@thiesmarsen @jonburr @tazgetroete I want a message sent. Israelis are left in ignorance of what most of the world thinks about what they are doing. There a tiny amount of sanctions but pin pricks. I'd like El Al to be treated like Aeroflot and banned. But a loud message needs to be sent

So, in November of this year, we`ll have a choice for President.
A Mussolini fascist or a hardcore Neocon and avowed Zionist.

I reckon the big decider will be what voter turnout will be like.
My guess is that it will be low on Democratic side, but, about normal on the Repuke side. This would lead to a clean Mussolini sweep of Prez, House, and Senate.

Anybody able to talk me out of this gloomy viewpoint? Or should we all just make sure we have a safe landing spot outside the US?

Grief is one of those things that people don't talk about when you get older.

They might mention turning into an insufferable divorced douchebag who picks up twenty-somethings in a shiny car built before their parents were born, and that's supposed to be the midlife crisis.

It isn't tho. It's waves of grief coming at you. Sometimes from all directions.

Getting the other side of the mid-40s is a parade of painful and permanent goodbyes that never seems to slow down.

    @thepoliticalcat and not joking but fish can suffer. Pond need to be deeper than 28 inches , the lower the temperature expected, the deeper the pond and make an airhole in ice cover with a bucket part filled with hot water resting on the surface

    If like me you've been wondering about how a actually does its job, this helpful explainer (with animation) is really helpful.... but in the end perhaps the best point is that, its just like a fridge, but in reverse (which really helped me see what ti was about).

    If this is the future then we need to have at least this level of basic understanding.

    Israel wants Sec General of UN to resign and is refusing visas to UN staff to visit, after killing 35 UN staff in Gaza. They have become a terrorist nation by ignoring the rule of law, ignoring the UN, killing children in massive numbers.     @emmalbriant It must be awful to have the same name as somebody who is famous for reasons that you wouldn't want attributed to you. In Melbourne a netball centre is lying unused . The name is the Fiona Richmond Centre. Now many men of a certain age will smirk as they see that especially the Brits. In the UK Fiona Richmond had the car number plate FU2 - she was a porn star and girlfriend of the pornography king Paul Raymond.
