It's wild how political reporters just take it in stride when every Republican accuses them of being far-left enemies of the people who make up stories to benefit the Dems but when Dems make substantive criticisms about their tendency to normalize authoritarianism or their obsession with the horserace or Biden's age, they hit the fainting couches.

In the past 3 weeks, the admin has extended overtime pay for 4 mil workers, moved to cancel student debt for 25 mil borrowers, banned non-competes, banned drilling on 13 mil acres of AK wilderness, forced airlines to give refunds for delayed/ canceled flights and restored net neutrality.

Doesn't matter given that nobody knows this, popularism is BS, there's no liberal equivalent of Fox, the legacy media is relentlessly hostile and Biden's the elderly PM of Israel.

During Trump's presidency, I wrote a weekly roundup of all the horrific, under-the-radar things his regime did almost every day that barely made the news.

It's probably a big reason why I ended up totally burned out by the end his term.

I volunteer at a no-kill shelter. Animals aren’t euthanized for space but they have put a couple of dogs down for health reasons or because they proved too dangerous to adopt. They’re often tough calls.

‘Happy, high energy young dog attacked some chickens’ isn’t. The answer is a leash. And her claim that the dog was “untrainable” is just MAGA-level bullshit.

Why do news organizations always need to include spox Steven Cheung’s blather about “the rigged and stolen 2020 presidential election”? What is the informational value of doing that when they are themselves comfortable calling it a “Big Lie”?
