Maybe I should start unfollowing/blocking people who show solidarity only to civilians on one side, when two evil sides kill civilians.
Not to speak of people who say the killing from one side is okay.

There are lots of issues, where you have to pick sides: antifascism over fascism, climate activism over fossil capitalism, peace over war, ...

But how do you pick sides between a "right radical" "repressive" "zionist" "regime" and "antisemitic" "terrorists"?

Is there anyone reporting fairly on that war, instead of replicating propaganda from one of the two sides?

#FYI using the report feature generously makes your admins' and mods' jobs easier, not harder.
If they are interested in keeping your instance a civil place, then every report helps them with that.

Tips to make this even more true:

• choose relevant posts when reporting
• choose a report reason
• add an explanation to your report

If you report an account with thousands of posts and don't tell me what and why you are reporting, then you're putting more work on my plate.

Okay, so when I have a bad day/moment I often raid my mother's cooking chocolate supply. I know its not good for me in the long run, as it just increases my weight, which in turn reduces my chances of becoming physically active.

Do you have any other home remedies against acute exacerbations of #depression?

I have emergency medication, but I'm not talking about real emergencies here.
These pills calm me down and sedate me, so they are good to keep me from doing something stupid, but afaik there are no pills that you can take to quickly boost your mood, apart from illegal, addictive drugs.
Also: If I get the munchies from it, I guess its even worse in the long run than chocolate.

Any other ideas? Apart from sports, friends, music, comedy, pets, fresh air, ...

As many of you know I'm writing a #book, an #AutoBiography.
I'd like to protect it from eventualities. Not that it's any good - at least not yet - but I'd still like to release it one day and not loose it.

So what I'm looking for is some setup, where I can store it online, work on it, have backups and have someone else have access to it in case I die from suicide or something. Oh and I shouldn't be able to delete it and the backups either.

That someone should be a person I can trust and that would be interested in doing something with the unfinished book if it came to it. Oh and the person should ideally know German, or know a good translator, because for now the book only exists in German (I'd like to translate it myself to English one day, but it might never come to that).

And the setup shouldn't cost too much and of course be FLOSS.

Any ideas?

Es wird zu einem offenen Krieg zwischen #FridaysForFuture #Wien und der #LetzteGeneration Wien kommen.

Wieso? Weil es nur darum geht recht zu haben und nicht darum zusammenzuarbeiten, oder sich zumindest nicht gegenseitig im Weg zu stehen.

FFF verfasst gerade ein öffentliches Statement und auf meinen Input hin wurde bestätigt, dass es nicht darum geht, sich um ein besseres Verhältnis mit LG zu bemühen, oder den Streikteilnehmer*innen zu versichern, dass sie auf den Streiks in Zukunft zu nichts gedrängt werden, wozu sie nicht bereit sind, sondern nur darum, klarzustellen, dass LG Fake-News verbreitet und FFF unschuldig ist.

In Zukunft wird es also mehr darum gehen, welche Aktionsform dafür verantwortlich ist, dass die Politiker*innen nicht handeln (als bräuchten diese wirklich die Ausreden auf die Aktionsformen), als darum, etwas für #KlimaGerechtigkeit zu tun.

Die Feindbilder werden lieber in den eigenen Reihen gesucht - mensch will ja Recht haben, als in den Reihen der CEOs und Politiker*innen.

Wenn die Rechten also wieder "Scheiß Klimakleber*innen" oder "Die sollen doch lieber mal in die Schule gehen" schreien, werden Teile der sogenannten Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung mit einstimmen.

Wenn wir mal von unseren Enkelkindern gefragt werden "Was habt ihr gegen die #KlimaKrise getan?" können wir voller Stolz antworten: "Wir haben einen Krieg für die richtigen Aktionsformen geführt"

PS: Ich kenn mittlerweile die andere Seite der Geschichte. Bei LG, oder zumindest in der Führungsetage, geht es keineswegs mehr ums Klima, sondern darum FFF zu zerstören und darum, in der Frage, welche Aktionsform die bessere sei, recht zu haben. Endgegner ist FFF, nicht die Fossile Lobby. Strategien werden nicht entwickelt um Klimagerechtigkeit durchzusetzen, sondern um FFF zu zerschlagen.
No offense zu anderen LG Gruppen, aber LG Wien ist echt lost und by extent LG Österreich, das aus Wien diktiert wird.

I'm currently getting out of a heavy #depression and I'm feeling much better lately, but today I still feel, like I don't want to live anymore.

I can't say that my depression is coming back or that I'm super sad again or anything. I just logically see no reason for me to live anymore:

• I have no purpose in live: For 4 years now I tried to make Fridays For Future my purpose in life, but I failed miserably.
• I have nothing that makes me happy
• I have essentially no friends
• The people I like the most want nothing or next to nothing to do with me. No offense to those people that are friendly with me - you're cool, you're just not that to me.
• I live off my father's pocket and he won't be able to afford me very much longer. I'm all out of money and the state still doesn't pay me anything.
• I don't think it will ever get better.

I really want to end this.
