@Jaden3 been married 20+ years, and I don't know long y'all been together, but I have found the most effective. meaningful gifts are not the ones they expect.

are they into something, something they enjoy a lot, hobby, sense of humor, etc. Getting something that aligns with that is usually good.

Shows you're paying attention to them, and what they like. Wife is into archeology. got her a necklace with a fossil shell in the rock, she loved that. Got a sketch by a artist she likes, loved it.

It took me months to get Aslan used to me working from home.
But now he can't tolerate me writing anywhere but the office desk.

@bedirthan I had the "same place" problem during pandemic. My work and my hobby of 3d modeling were a button click apart. I didn't even have to get up. Kind of drove me crazy for a bit.

    truth though, my kid went from being a little kid to a teen ager over the pandemic, and I can tell you this, his generation is going to have a LOT of problems down the road. That shit affected so much more than we think.

    I could care less if AG Willis is getting some some on the side with a co-worker. It has NO bearing on the case.

    Hell, I met my current wife of over 25 years while still married to my first wife and getting divorced. Sometimes it works like that.

    A lot of people that claim that MLK jr was somehow loved by all and better than today's civil rights leaders, are just lying.

    A lot of people claiming that "Black Lives Matter" or "Defund the Police" are bad marketing, and that they would support these movements if they were named something better like "Non-violent march," are just lying. It's not the phrase that these people object to. It's the underlying principle. They do not accept that current US policing is a negative on reducing crime.
