Well, another beekeeper totally screwed up a swarm capture at our local elementary school. The vacuumed up the bees instead of boxing them up and waiting until evening. Thus leaving half the swarm wondering where the queen went, and not solving the problem at all. I was called by one of the teachers... nothing I could do. Although most of the bees crawled into my bag of bee gear and I took them home. #beekeeping#failure
First time for a bunch of bees to move directly into my beekeeping gear, ha ha ha. Kind of like being the Pied Piper. They followed me in from the parking lot, and even before I put on my bee suit there were 50 bees surrounding me. The liked the bag better than the box of wax.... I just zipped the 60-100 bees in my pocket there and put them in the car. #beekeeping

Need to buy a case of cheap beer, but feels strange to plan to buy the cheapest beer you can find early in the morning, on bicycle. (it's for slugs in the garden, LOL). #beer#gardening
