Good morning, #Fediverse. Today I decided to give my body and mind a rest with a nice walk to the park. Found an interesting new graffiti on the way too. All in all, a pretty good morning 😁
Got my first #OwnCast stream using #OBS running tonight from my #HomeLab! It worked, but I noticed that while my little server handled it really well, it took about 56% of the CPU resources at any given time while streaming.
So...just have to be aware that I probably don't want to be running this on the same machine as a bunch of CPU hungry services.
This saves me a whole $10 / mo by running it from home. 😆
I'm from the United States, and honestly I just post whatever is on my mind. I've got a ton of interests, but some of them are exercising, computers, photography, and cars.
IRL, I'm a student. Outside of that, I focus on learning both programming and world languages as well.
I don't really take many things seriously, the internet being one of them (expect a lot of dumb jokes). Just here to chill and meet some people.

For me, I don't really have any projects in the works at the moment, but hoping to do some yard work with regards to our garden that we want to make a bit better for the upcoming planting that we're hoping to do.
I mean things aren't perfect here - because there are a few humans here so how can it be perfect? - but compared with the shitshows from the #corporate owned #SocialMedia sites, this place offers so much.
If you refuse to leave #Twitter, well, that's your problem, not mine.
Another #peertube#animations#anime creator who honestly, couldn't not make a post about them. It's kinda special because it's one of the few, if not the only cgi creators on #Peertube. The videos go by #hololive animation. usually after the video title, within the title.
Je m'y détend en retrouvant une partie de ce que j'ai perdu sur Instagram il y a une demi douzaine d'années. Mon flux #Pixelfed c'est mon #1jour1kif
J'adore regarder de belles photos de paysages, de photos posées, d'œuvres d'artistes. C'est mon moment reposant et détente.
Malheureusement je suis frustré avec Mastodon car ces œuvres se perdent dans le fil. Surtout pour les artistes de l'autre coté du globe qui ne postent pas à mes horaires. Quant à Instagram, c'est devenu une blague, et Glass c'est trop élitiste.
C'est pour ça que j'utilise l'app Pixelfed qui met vraiment en valeur les photos, permet d'intéragir avec les personnes, mais n'est pas un 50e compte Mastodon en parallèle.
Le texte des pouëts sans photo n'apparait jamais. On se concentre juste sur de belles photos/vidéos et c'est tout ! C'est un concentré des médias visuels du Fédivers et c'est apaisant.
Et comme l'app reflète ce que l'on suit, c'est toujours une surprise d'y voir ce que j'en attends.
Allez, les copains et les "copaines" ! Abonnez-vous au compte de @lelibreedu pour que le nombre dépasse celui de X (vous savez, le Mordor des RS). Ce faisant, le #Fediverse deviendrait la base de communication des différents services de la Direction du Numérique de l'EN; plutôt que la plateforme à l'oiseau mort !
La bascule est pour bientôt. Ce serait chouette que ce fût avant la rentrée scolaire !
