Polite request for help;

I have been invited to show some of my work with a group at the start of December. I have a collection of ten for it.

From this I applied for both & local council funding to help cover the costs of professional printing & framing, this is just under £3,700. The printers have a 4-week turn around with exhibition work, however the ACE & local council won't let know whether I'm successful with the applications until the end of November. Therefore I am now stuck in a rut & having to seek / / for help.

May I therefore ask if anyone out there would like to assist me via my page perchance? This is the first time I have been asked to show my work and it was already extremely daunting without having to ask for help.

My Kofi link can be found in my Masto bio.

Thank you very, very much, Lee.

(Can you please boost this post, thank you).

A fancy lil of the (mis) information arrow beer sign I made over the summer. This will be at View Arts Center in Old Forge NY starting December 2nd through March in the Northern Lights Exhibition.

The animating blacklight tubes blink like a rocket shooting. take aim :)

I have a few other "beer" sign ideas. I like the murdered out, theme, but other colors are nice.

A neon "beer" sign in the shape of an arrow with black glass that flashes red with neon. The sign flashes between dis, mis and mal information

The second immersive exhibition at in shows the of the Catalan painter, graphic artist, writer, sculptor and stage designer . He is one of the main representatives of . Dalí was born in 1904 and died in 1989. You will probably recognise his trademark, the twirled moustache. He is a controversial character and not everyone likes his art. I am not a fan, but I am impressed by his creativity and his play with motifs.
This post shows you some moments from the . If you want to see them in motion, please check out: https://www.phoenix-lumieres.com/en/dali-endless-enigma

A painted village is projected onto the wall of the factory building. The sky is blue, the houses are colourful. Green trees and bushes are everywhere. It looks very Mediterranean and warm.
The walls of the hall shine in warm gold tones. An exit door can be seen, the projection shows a desert landscape, a pair of arms and a rock.
The wall of the hall is black. The statue of a seated man can be seen on the left of the picture. Behind him is yellow light. In the centre of the picture is a red octopus in front of yellow light and on the right is a blue vintage car with a white roof, on which stands a bronze statue (presumably a voluptuous female warrior). The background is black.
Black background with white dots. An egg can be seen in the centre, from the upper part of which the artist himself appears. He has spread his arms and is holding a walking stick in one hand. His gaze is wild.
A kind of portal is projected onto the wall of the hall, which appears to look out into space. Everything around the portal is orange and yellow. To the left and right, legs and feet look out of the portal. The soles of the feet are very striking.

Finally, the idea for my #exhibition! " #Archaeologists made a revolutionary #discovery in 2033. In the vicinity of pottery shards from the late Betschdorf and Soufflenheim cultures (early 21st century), they found objects reminiscent of ancient #reliquaries. An antique QR code will be provided for you to visit this page. You can also beam up in the form of a hologram." 😎 😂 ▶️ https://www.cronenburg.net/reliquaires/ #SciArt #ArtActivism #BiodiversityShrines #BiodiversityLoss #archaeology #butterflies

The in is shortly to host a new exhibition : Realms of Imagination. Would be great to see. There's also an accompanying book that can be bought. However even those at a distance can enjoy some of the many linked talks and events . Either watching live online or for 48 hours after each event. Here's the web page listing them all. I think I'll be buying tickets for several. https://www.bl.uk/events/fantasy-events

The #exhibition of my #BiodiversityShrines is meant to be #activism but also to encourage people to change their perspective through the #sciFi #fiction #storytelling. For me, it was a project to learn to deal with my #EcoGrief. And it's a hell of a lot of fun! It’s been called the “art event of the year.” You may have heard of Luna Luna, the amusement park staged in Hamburg, Germany, in 1987, where nearly 30 artists, including Basquiat, Hockney and Dalí, designed the rides. Well now, thanks to funding by Drake, it’s been re-created in a Los Angeles warehouse. However, it’s pricey to get in and you can’t really interact with the rides. Time Out has a good peek inside.

I really like the of artist Antoni Gaudí. At the end of the 19th century he became famous for his works of wrought iron, furniture, ceramics, sculptures, mosaics and stained glass windows. His forms were always organic, curved and integrated into the buildings. Anyone who has ever been to will have spotted Gaudí's signature everywhere in the city (Park Güell is amazing!)
Now I was able to get close to his art in a very special way. In 2023, an immersive art centre in the Phoenix Halle, a former gas treating plant, in was created. 'Phoenix des Lumières' presents monumental immersive digital exhibitions, dedicated to major artists in the history of art and to . and are currently on show there (more photos to follow).
Hope you like these highlights from the Gaudí as much as I do 😍

The façade of a house made of blue and red tiles. Several windows can be seen, all of which are curved.
Colourful "pipes" are projected onto the floor and walls of the hall. They remind me of the pipes of an organ. Church windows can be seen on the right of the picture.
Four church towers made of light-coloured stone, I assume they are the towers of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Behind them, the wall is red, blue, yellow and green.
The floor and walls are covered with colourful mosaics. It's colourful and beautiful. I like the colourfulness of Antoni Gaudí.
A church window that looks like a radiant sun surrounded by a dark blue "sky".
Drop-shaped stained glass windows in shades of red and yellow are projected onto the wall. The silhouette of the Sagrada Familia can be seen in front of it. Magical.

Why is Palantir sponsoring the Dimensions art exhibition in Leipzig?

"Palantir is a US-based data analytics company whose business model seems to be the pushing and exceeding of any ethical and legal boundaries that stand in the way of a fully “transparent humanity”. Some questions come to mind. What was the reasoning behind Palantir’s decision to sponsor the Dimensions exhibition in Leipzig? What exactly were the role of art impresario Walter Smerling and the association Foundation for Art and Culture e.V. (Bonn) which he heads, after his efforts were stifled in Berlin? What role do art, curators and artists play in such an exhibition?"
