There is a large exhibition dedicated to my artworks in a supermarket in Plérin, France, from today until 11 November. ☺️ Yay!
Many comic pages and illustration were printed in big. Their is also many activities around the exhibition: a cooking potion contest, a signing session, drawing and digital painting workshop too.
I have been invited to show some of my #Photography work with a group #exhibition at the start of December. I have a collection of ten #photographs for it.
From this I applied for both #ArtsCouncilEngland & local council funding to help cover the costs of professional printing & framing, this is just under £3,700. The printers have a 4-week turn around with exhibition work, however the ACE & local council won't let know whether I'm successful with the applications until the end of November. Therefore I am now stuck in a rut & having to seek #CrowdFunding / #CrowdSourcing / #Funding for help.
May I therefore ask if anyone out there would like to assist me via my #Kofi page perchance? This is the first time I have been asked to show my work and it was already extremely daunting without having to ask for help.
A fancy lil #video of the (mis) information arrow #neon beer sign #sculpture I made over the summer. This will be at View Arts Center in Old Forge NY starting December 2nd through March in the Northern Lights Exhibition.
The animating blacklight tubes blink like a rocket shooting. take aim :)
I have a few other "beer" sign ideas. I like the murdered out, #blacklight theme, but other colors are nice.
The second immersive exhibition at #PhoenixDesLumieres in #Dortmund shows the #art of the Catalan painter, graphic artist, writer, sculptor and stage designer #SalvadorDalí. He is one of the main representatives of #surrealism. Dalí was born in 1904 and died in 1989. You will probably recognise his trademark, the twirled moustache. He is a controversial character and not everyone likes his art. I am not a fan, but I am impressed by his creativity and his play with motifs.
This post shows you some moments from the #exhibition. If you want to see them in motion, please check out: https://www.phoenix-lumieres.com/en/dali-endless-enigma #HistoryLessonWithBella
The Interim Computer Festival is only 30 days away beginning September 30th - October 1st at INTRASPACE in Seattle. Registration is open and more details can be found at
It’s been called the “art event of the year.” You may have heard of Luna Luna, the amusement park staged in Hamburg, Germany, in 1987, where nearly 30 artists, including Basquiat, Hockney and Dalí, designed the rides. Well now, thanks to funding by Drake, it’s been re-created in a Los Angeles warehouse. However, it’s pricey to get in and you can’t really interact with the rides. Time Out has a good peek inside.
I really like the #artwork of #Catalan artist Antoni Gaudí. At the end of the 19th century he became famous for his works of wrought iron, furniture, ceramics, sculptures, mosaics and stained glass windows. His forms were always organic, curved and integrated into the buildings. Anyone who has ever been to #Barcelona will have spotted Gaudí's signature everywhere in the city (Park Güell is amazing!)
Now I was able to get close to his art in a very special way. In 2023, an immersive art centre in the Phoenix Halle, a former gas treating plant, in #Dortmund was created. 'Phoenix des Lumières' presents monumental immersive digital exhibitions, dedicated to major artists in the history of art and to #contemporary#art. #Gaudí and #Dalí are currently on show there (more photos to follow).
Hope you like these highlights from the Gaudí #exhibition as much as I do 😍 https://www.phoenix-lumieres.com/en #architecture#PhoenixDesLumieres#HistoryLessonWithBella
Why is Palantir sponsoring the Dimensions art exhibition in Leipzig?
"Palantir is a US-based data analytics company whose business model seems to be the pushing and exceeding of any ethical and legal boundaries that stand in the way of a fully “transparent humanity”. Some questions come to mind. What was the reasoning behind Palantir’s decision to sponsor the Dimensions exhibition in Leipzig? What exactly were the role of art impresario Walter Smerling and the association Foundation for Art and Culture e.V. (Bonn) which he heads, after his efforts were stifled in Berlin? What role do art, curators and artists play in such an exhibition?"
The World Of The Book exhibition at the State Library of Victoria is marvellous and free. Not only is the location beautiful, the exhibition is well laid out, superbly curated and informative. #melbourne#library#exhibition@bookstodon#bookstodon#books

"The House that Art Built” is a historic showcase in San Francisco.
In addition to the exhibition, which features 11 artists associated with the Oakland-based nonprofit Creative Growth, SFMOMA has also permanently acquired more than 100 works created by artists with developmental disabilities.
