I am so heartened and impressed by the growing student protests and support from faculty in Germany. That here, too, more and more people are saying that unconditional support of Israel is morally entenable, that Germany has to stop supplying arms; that combatting antisemitism does not mean killing 10,000s of innocent people. #Gaza
Protesters are doing this despite considerable state and police repression and violence.
To all the bad opinions regarding #gaza aid trucks from people who have never driven a truck:
Go to #Palestine and drive a truck through a #war zone, then report back.
The problem is finding #truck#drivers willing to risk their lives as the trucks are attacked by mobs of civilians standing around in a live fire war zone.
Ansar Allah official Nasr al-Din Amer rejects the notion the Yemeni movement is simply a proxy for Iran and says its maritime blockade of Israel in the Red Sea is meant to lift the siege on Gaza and has the overwhelming support of the Yemeni people.
"Egypt has basically accepted every term that Israel imposed on it..to a degree..of actual collusion."
"Egypt has denied access into Gaza to the international media, Egyptian media, human rights investigators.... Why do Israel’s bidding by denying them..at the Egyptian side?"
Egypt gives "Israelis complete control on the vetting of who comes out of Gaza", even stranded Egyptian citizens.
More than 70 international organisations are calling on all authorities and international institutions to officially declare a famine in Gaza, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has said in a statement.
The entire population in the Gaza Strip (2.2 million people) are experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity, with half of them in the disaster/famine stage.

Detained at a US airport & asked about Israel & #Gaza for 2 hours. Why? Ilan Pappé
Border agents asked whether I believe #Israel is committing #genocide & what I think of popular #protest slogans shortly after landing in Detroit
My initial attempt to find out why I was stopped was disregarded. It was clear the agents were asking the questions & my role was to answer them. So until today I did not officially receive any explanation for detention
@Free_Press Joe #Biden is happy to let #Israel use it's weapons on a civilian population, and to defend these criminal actions against the #ICC but won't allow #Ukraine to use its weapons against military targets against an invader of its sovereign territory.
Vessels supporting US pier wash away in heavy seas off Gaza
"The pier has been criticised as a complicated & costly alternative that tries to deflect attention from demanding a much simpler solution – for Israel to fully open all land crossings to Gaza & to secure aid trucks going in."
Israel is keeping land crossings - "the only effective way of getting large-scale aid to starving Palestinians" - closed.
Erneut Massenproteste gegen Netanyahu-Regierung in Israel
"Indignant protests by Israeli and US leaders over last week’s decision by the prosecutor of the international criminal court (ICC) to seek Benjamin Netanyahu’s arrest for alleged war crimes shone new light on an old reality: for those at the top who wield decisive political power, all people are equal – but some are more equal than others"
Good column from Simon Tisdall in today's Observer
"Since the hasty withdrawal from Sinai in 1956, Israel has never acceded to the will of the international community, as if the world and its decisions have nothing to do with it. Invulnerable and protected by America, the Bible and a certain nuclear research center in Dimona, it has always acted as if it had license to scoff at the whole world. That ended the day it invaded Gaza in such a brutal, unchecked manner"
