I’m always amazed how fast Wheat Grass grows.
I made a little counter top planter with vintage Fiestaware mugs for my partner to use in his smoothies.
We thought it might be fun to do a time lapse to see how fast it grows in a day. It was not. 😂
Turns out it was like… watching grass grow 🌾
I trimmed it up to see the growth in 9 hours anyway.

Just gonna think about Peewee the rest of the night.

Also, my friends did an amazing song about Peewee's Big Adventure: https://cadaverpudding.bandcamp.com/track/dottie

It's Bandcamp Friday (all the money goes to the artists today!) and I finally bought two of my favorite albums.

The first is 'No Future, Tell the Kids' by The Thirties. (It's not miserable or hopeless music despite the title, it's actually very hopeful and uplifting). I streamed this one so much it didn't let me listen anymore til I paid, and I was HAPPY to. GREAT bunch of punk-esque rock songs with killer lyrics about how the Sacklers and incels suck. (Seriously, check it out). https://thethirties.bandcamp.com/album/no-future-tell-the-kids

Second purchase of the day is another of my favorite albums, 'Eternally Stupid' by Bluff City Vice. This stuff is magical. I don't even know.. kinda electronica, punkish, like if a garage rock/punk band was obsessed with dirty hiphop beats and Beck? I don't know. Catchy, irresistible. https://bluffcityvice.bandcamp.com/album/eternally-stupid

Check out "Gender Is Boring" by She/Her/Hers for some really good folk punk music in the vein of Mischief Brew, Ramshackle Glory, etc.
