Newly discovered footage of Humble Pie performing in London in 1973... filmed for The Midnight Special and unseen until now. "I Don't Need No Doctor," with backup vocal group the Black Berries.
The best live footage of the late great Steve Marriott I've ever seen.
I never really remember the order of the words in the hashtag #MusicWomenWednesday, but here is my weekly recommendation and the EP that I listened to first thing this morning:
🎶Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction
In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord, yeah!🎶
"Spoiled 4 Us All" is the new track from Stan Stewart. And if you were expecting a mellow orchestra playing, you're in for a surprise. #NewMusic#InstrumentalMusic#RockMusic

SEBASTIAN BACH On SKID ROW's Unwillingness To Reunite Classic Lineup: 'I Honestly Think That It's A Business Thing'
This @SPINMag post reminded me of the ‘Purple Rain’ era #LiveMusic album that finally saw an official release a couple of years ago. One of the best shows in a lifetime of great performances.
While not `00% lining up with my life, I sang this version as a lullaby to my children when they were infants changing the lyrics slightly to account for when I had to travel for work or leave my kids knowing, saying I would always return to them.
