@AlienAnomaly Lakeside Park, willojws in the breeze. Lakeside Park, so many memories... #RockMusic#RockLyrics#RushIsABand I missed it, too! Was May 24 Opening Day, or something? Ever been there?
I hadn't heard of cranes til I stumbled across them on Bandcamp the other day. Their new stuff is too light/airy for my tastes, but these Peel Sessions from 1989-1990 that release in a few days-- the two songs up so far.. wow. I LOVE her voice.. the great kinda minimal music behind it, reminds me of Björk a little sometimes, but maybe with SLIGHTLY more edge and more 80s-ish guitar. Check it out, let me know what you think.
Hey, frens! I'm Jae, a casual gamer with more heart than skill. Migrating from #Mastodon on over to #Calckey in search of a great experience here in the #fediverse. I'm easy-going and just try to vibe, really.
I love #Wrestling, #RockMusic and especially #VideoGames! I play #drums and am a writer for an upcoming project out of the #Midwest! Hope to post some of that sooner rather than later!
I also daily drive #Arch#Linux and am quite passionate about this whole hobby. Expect lots of nerdy / tech posts. 😆 💞
It's Bandcamp Friday (all the money goes to the artists today!) and I finally bought two of my favorite albums.
The first is 'No Future, Tell the Kids' by The Thirties. (It's not miserable or hopeless music despite the title, it's actually very hopeful and uplifting). I streamed this one so much it didn't let me listen anymore til I paid, and I was HAPPY to. GREAT bunch of punk-esque rock songs with killer lyrics about how the Sacklers and incels suck. (Seriously, check it out). https://thethirties.bandcamp.com/album/no-future-tell-the-kids
Second purchase of the day is another of my favorite albums, 'Eternally Stupid' by Bluff City Vice. This stuff is magical. I don't even know.. kinda electronica, punkish, like if a garage rock/punk band was obsessed with dirty hiphop beats and Beck? I don't know. Catchy, irresistible. https://bluffcityvice.bandcamp.com/album/eternally-stupid
