The #RCMP spokesperson said police were in communication with the #Saskatchewan Conservation Officer Service throughout Thursday, but there were no conservation officers on site when the bear was shot.
People in a local Facebook group expressed #outrage about a photo circulating on social media of two RCMP officers posing with the dead bear in the bed of a pickup truck.

I have difficult relationships with Western #VietnamWarVeterans. Especially #Canadian ones who volunteered; weren't sent by CAF. I think most folks can understand why. Me & my family suffered from US led war on our peoples. I don't care how much you respect military veterans, if you can't understand the horrors inflicted upon #POCpeoples by peoples you consider military heroes in US & Canada. Your 'heroes' #murdered many of my innocent family & countless millions of others. We don't get support.

The thirteen skulls represent those #murdered by the #British Parachute Regiment: Jackie Duddy, Patrick Doherty, Bernard McGuigan, Hugh Gilmour, Kevin McElhinney, Michael Kelly, John Young, William Nash, Michael McDaid, James Wray, Gerald Donaghey, Gerald McKinney and WIlliam McKinney. John Johnston died four and a half months later from injuries he received from gunshot in #Derry on 30th January 1972.

Here’s the thing: if you have to live somewhere that is so thinly separated from an #oppressed class that you gotta build a wall, a few electric fences, and just pray, you aren’t living, you are betting against time.
#Slavers, #settlers, and #apartheid#separatists, however stable they may seem in their safe #worlds, are always moments away from a rebellion that run the streets red with the just rage of the oppressed.
If you don’t think the #slaves should rise up, or the conquered should seize back their #lands, or mothers should seek #justice for their #murdered#children, then it behooves you to not live in such places and leave them promptly. Get out and stop living on borrowed time.
