Während Netanjahu in einem demokratischen Prozess gewählt wurde, hat sich die Hamas 2007 im Gaza an die Macht geputscht.
Während die Hamas am 7. Oktober Israel überfiel, 1200 Menschen ermordete, 200 verschleppte und in ihrer Agenda klar formuliert, den Staat Israel auslöschen zu wollen. Reagierte die israelische Armee damit die Hamas zu schwächen bzw. Zu zerstören. Nicht nicht Gaza. (1)
...#Netanyahu dürfte damit sogar deutlich besser positioniert sein als irgendwelche Gefolgsleute von Terrororganisationen.
Es ist bereits so viel Blut geflossen. Eine Aussöhnung der derzeitigen Bewohner im Nahen Osten kann es nur irgendwann geben, wenn die Hintergründe auch juristisch aufgearbeitet sind.
Ich halte es i.Ü. für unwahrscheinlich, dass #Bibi in 2025 nicht hinter Schwedischen, äh, israelischen Hardinen sitzt.--Jedoch für Rechtsbrüche in Israel.

I assume most Israelis, the vast majority of whom distrust & loathe #Netanyahu & want him replaced, are picking up what Gantz is laying down about #Israel's real natsec interests (i.e., maintain diplomatic respect & trust with the US –which is obviously impossible w/Bibi calling the shots).
Serious Q: Have Israelis decided keeping #Bibi in power forever is worth pushing US power to the "Jews Will Not Replace Us" party (GOP) for keeps? B/c that's where all this is headed in 2024 election.

While many in the public haven't noticed this yet, surely Biden's advisers realize (belatedly, anyway) that Netanyahu is working with Trump/GOP to alienate Democratic voters, & will do whatever it takes to get Biden to set limits with Israel publicly.
Biden is weak. He hasn't grasped that setting humanitarian limits and/or forcing Netanyahu out is something that is best done sooner rather than later. To limit the damage to Democrats in November.
As I was saying. Biden needs to wise up & sideline #Bibi now, before he continues murdering even more people in #Palestine, & helping the GOP do even more damage to Democrats in the US.
