'I keep molting.
To become a shiny cool compact car that can fly.
But right now I'm still a baby.
So I'm taking a nap wrapped in a wafer paper-like blanket.' 🐞
Okay, you probably know by now that when someone is my favourite, there's no escaping my portraits. So have another Maedhros - this time as a baby with his mum (and yep, I'm on a mission to revise old works!)
I hope you like it, and sorry for my one-track mind 🙈
In 2019, a pair of #Winnipeg#moms launched #Lullaland, the Province’s first-of-its-kind #baby#sensory program with the goal of promoting early #bonding between #caregivers and their little ones. Fast forward five years, the pair are set to bring their program to families across #Canada.
“We wanted to create something that was just as engaging and fun for the grown-up as it is for the baby,” explained Fran Hiebert, a co-owner of Lullaland.
The sudden explosion of teeny baby bunnies around here is lovely to see.
Little grass eating fluff balls, including our own bin-bunny, happily living behind them while he can (before he gets too big 🐰)
How the U.S. Waged a Global Campaign Against #Baby Formula #Regulation
Records and interviews show that the U.S. government repeatedly used its muscle to advance the interests of large baby formula companies while thwarting the efforts of #Thailand and other developing countries to safeguard children’s #health.
From what I understand when I was reading how the years are set up when done manually, the perpetual calendar of the #Citizen E650 seems to be working by blocks of 4 years (n -> n+3) for leap years. As expected it is handling today fine. I probably won’t be around when it may be wrong in the year 2100 😅.
Funnily enough the #Casio#Baby-G manual explicitly states that its calendar is pre-programmed for the years 2000-2099 kind of like a computer. So while it is handling today fine too, ironically it will be wrong in 2100 and unable to handle any year after that unlike the simpler Citizen.
ok, someone came up with an idea of having a screen reader friendly drum machine thing. so basically, it's on bgt, and it just plays a drum sample everytime you press a key on the keyboard.
so here's the thing, my almost 2 year old son loves to play with my laptop just pressing random keys. so i thought, why not change the sound samples to a baby friendly sounds and let him play with it.
anyone has a collection of sound samples i can use? animal sounds, car sounds, baby sounds, funny sounds anything will do, preferably in .WAV format. thank you! #Blind#BlindParenting#Baby#Sounds#SoundEffects
