In the Northern Black Forest, sandstone is the most prevalent #rock on the surface. In some locations, such as rivers, the older #granite emerges, as seen here at the Gertelbachwasserfall. The photo was taken on a late winter afternoon.
On the way up to the source of the waterfall Golling we came across this cave and to me it looks the the perfect hideout for folklore creatures like fairies or a hiding place for treasure.
Another image from the enchanted little stream.
I could have spent days at that location and wouldn’t have been able to capture all the interesting angles and little details…
Around the house where the lived for the first few months in Sweden were a lot of little streams. Some of them run through old, mossy, enchanted looking woods where one could spend ages and not stop wondering…
(and also not stop wondering how many mosquitoes it takes to suck a grown man dry)
#waterfallwednesday with yet another waterfall in Iceland, although I don’t remember where and my exports from Lightroom always have the location data removed even though it should not.
I've been to Brazil just once. A business trip in Oct 2018, a meeting in a hotel within walking distance from the Iguazu Falls. We also did some rafting on the river. I tell you, that was absolutely fantastic.
