The Former Guy is out with a rant accusing networks like NBC and MSNBC of “country threatening treason.” And yet the media continues to act like he is some kind of normal candidate, and that there is an equivalence between his 91 criminal counts and 4 indictments and Biden’s age—which is just three years more than his own. Here’s an interesting experiment for the media (ALL of the paid media):
Cease posting any reference to Pres. Biden’s age for a week.
During that week, instead post article after article of ALL of his positive actions, policies, achievements throughout the past three years — while also providing a relevant frame of reference for the state of the nation he inherited in 2021.
Run throwback articles about every despicable Trump action and lie while in office, INCLUDING THE JAN6 ATTEMPTED COUP.
Run a poll after that week.
I guarantee public opinion would sharply favor Pres. Biden. We NEVER HEAR of the Biden Administration’s domestic and international successes. All we hear about from the media is his damn birthday.
For an profession so enamored of First Amendment rights, they don’t seem terribly aware they’re helping to ensure we all lose ALL OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS with another Trump “presidency.”
@georgetakei Of course, I agree, and I suspect most people will. nBut when those networks are making so much money "feeding the trolls" as we used to call it, why would they change?
@georgetakei Trump was convicted unanimously two months ago by a jury of molesting E. Jean Carrol. It was a civil trial, not a criminal one, but I don't see any mention now that Trump is actually a convicted molester.
