Before my time, but I'm a fan of the era so ask fam: they recommend a Vangelis soundtrack and VHS tapes, 5.25 floppy disks (or laserdisc!) and probably some Duran Duran and Rick Springfield!

An advertisement for music group a-ha's "take on me". Music videos and MTV were cutting edge culture in the 1980s. This music video is iconic for blending live action footage with stylized black and white animation in a "love separated by different worlds" story. A true marriage of iconic song and iconic 80s video.
