As I head into the final stretch of my PhD, there’ll be no avoiding the dreaded CV overhaul. I’ve admitted to myself that my current one is too wordy.
Younger students, who I help with PhD applications, share their academic CVs with me. I noticed that putting “narrative bio + goals” paragraphs at the top is becoming more common.

Let's say you have two copies of the same mysql database, one is the current production that just went out of commission and the other is the new production version + upgrades.
Now you need to conciliate all the users and data between the end of the production DB into the new DB with the software updates.

I tried logging in earlier and everytime I try to enter my account it kept saying that I entered the wrong email/password when I am most certain I didn't. I thought I needed to log out of my phone in order to get in yet it still did not work. I also searched for Youtube tutorials but none helped. Running different website launchers didn't help either.

There's some mass phishing email going out. And instead of people just deleting it or asking their accounting dept "Hey what the shit is this?" (ideally they'd be talking to IT, but if they were that smart, I wouldn't be wearing out my delete button), they are all replying "WHO IS THIS WHATS HAPPENING!?;!"
Questions for those who know more (I'm new to this Mastadon thing) - Are there apps I can use or...? Is this more a web-based experience?
And if I'm a part of one instance, can I view both instances at once or...? Is this a very separate kind of thing?
