The oldest grandson came by today. He brought my husband fast food, which was a treat for him. He knows better than to bring any for me.
After lunch, we talked about taking a rainy day walk at the wildlife refuge.
I put on four layers to stay warm some waterproof hikers and away we went.
We walked fast to stay ahead of the cold and only got a little soggy.
Even in the rain, the scenery was magnificent.
The good company, exercise and fresh air was welcome.

My contribution to organised by @yanncphoto is Shush, an in-camera on . For this series, I had a green filter on to shoot the textures in order to increase the contrast. And then I did something stupid: I compensated for the filter even though I was shooting in A mode. So in effect I overexposed my textures. But these super present textures actually worked great on some images (and not so great on others) leading me to possibly do this deliberately with the right choice of texture... True, Lara's face isn't super legible here, but I think it contributes to the air of silent mystery...

Nice to share recent findings with my students. Today in class, I screened this very rare behind-the-scenes look at Alice Guy-Blaché filming in France on HENRI. We are covering the early pioneers of silent cinema, so it was an added treat.

The only disadvantage is that aside from a single M.2 B-Key SSD slot, two internal USB 2.0 ports a 2nd DDR3L-SODIMM, 4x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 on the outside there's no expandability.

There are many large and in the world. Many people are victimized by the in a thousand different ways. This is not their story; it is not about their problems, but this should not be seen as minimizing them.

I'd like to talk about something a little closer to home: in the field. I've been in this field for <mumble> years and worked for tiny companies, medium consulting companies, large orgs, and as a one-man independent contractor.

cazabon,

And just how "optional" is it? Are employees turning up because they'll look bad if everyone else on their team goes and they don't?

A lot of managers are blind to this kind of on employees. They are completely unaware of the power dynamic between management and employees, and so they misunderstand the and of those employees.
