The problem with having degrees for everything is that it becomes the entry requirement for most careers. This puts people who don’t go to university for whatever reason at a significant disadvantage. It’s completely insane that one generation could walk into a career aged 16 & learn on the job, whilst another has to take out a large student loan & do an extra 5 years in education to do the exact same job.
