For the last five years, the Adani Group has been expanding its businesses in India to include manufacturing of drones and other weapons with Israeli arms companies and for the Israel Defence Forces. The Adani Group claims it also used to ‘support the Indian Armed Forces and other paramilitary forces in India’.
Yesterday's short story rec on my daily recs newsletter was “The Little Free Guide To Dronewatching, Abridged & Annotated” by @RobotLeBlanc in Baffling Mag!
Webodm experiments crashed and burned yesterday. Somewhere mid processing the whole machine crashed. I didn't have time to deep dive and find out if it was hardware (the SSD isn't heatsinked) or if it was some software issue. Hoping to have time today to dig into it.
Well that's good timing. I just got my replacement MJX Bugs 18 Pro in the mail today. I officially have a drone "fleet" I think. Is that what they call more than one drone? Or do you need 3 for that? I'm kind of fond of gaggle. Can we have a gaggle of drones? IDK.
The first one would set home point then fire itself off in a random direction typically crashing itself into the ground. 💥
Oh well, thus far this one seems to work so I'll take it!
Israeli drone tactic to thwart farmers: 60 injured on road to Delhi, protesters call ceasefire
The tactic, often used by Israel on Palestinians, and other strongarm measures resulted in scuffles that left over 60 farmers injured and forced them to call for a temporary 'ceasefire' in the evening.
Little bit scary but trying to put myself out there.
Feedback is welcome.
Logo is forthcoming, creative people taking creative time to get that bit done.
If you know anyone in Eastern Iowa or Western Illinois who needs to see on top of tall things, or doesn't want to wait for the next google maps satellite image update, let them know about me. Please and thank you!

The AAP government in the capital has declined a proposal by the Modi government at the Centre to convert the Bawana Stadium into a jail for the protestors.
"In Dnipro, we visited an apartment building where at least 64 people had died in an earlier #Russian missile strike. Eerily enough, we could still see clothes hanging in a top-floor closet — visible because the entire front wall of the building was gone. Other Russian missiles have struck #hospitals, #schools & shopping malls in the area. These are targets of no military value whose destruction amounts to #crimes against humanity" https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/02/12/ukraine-united-states-aid/
"The shortage of weapons, by contrast, is the West’s fault. The Western countries are collectively far bigger than #Russia in both population and wealth, but they have not increased their armaments production as rapidly as #Moscow has done. #Ukraine is ramping up its own output, particularly of #drones, but it will take years for it to develop the necessary manufacturing capacity. In the meantime, Ukraine faces an alarming shortage of ammunition" https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/02/12/ukraine-united-states-aid/
Adani JV Just Exported Lethal Drones to Israel, Same Model Being Used in Genocide-Tainted Gaza War
The role of an Indian conglomerate in supplying drones – which are being used by the IDF for attacks in densely populated urban areas in Gaza – appears to fly in the face of the Modi government’s official position seeking a quick resolution to the conflict.
