It seems appropriate that the spark was stolen from humanity by corporations to give to their "AI" instead.
The worst thing about the current "AI" leap is probably not even that it will be, is already being used to build the near total coverage constant surveillance, a scaffolding ready for any totalitarian to construct their oppression system on, as well as disabling the mischievousness that is essential to healthy mental development by social exploration and cutting the bonds enabling adulthood independence from parents.
It is instead probably that with live "AI"-generated fake video indistinguishable from reality, we will not be able to trust any evidence of anything having happened, as the watermarks promised as solution can easily be removed or not applied.
No person will be able to trust anything they're told by any other person that it happened and no one person can personally witness every important event in the world.
This breaks humankind's ability to cooperate over long social distances and our networks of trust, the sparks that has been keeping our "survival of the fittest" of ability to wide ranging adaptation to habitats aflame.
Reassigning the sparks emoji to mean "AI" generated content was appropriate, probably more so than Samsung or whomever committed the theft realized.

Apps like @briar and @simplex are good for this because they require you to use some form of handshake outside the app in order to set up a chat with a known person.
I also think we need an information version of banking's Know Your Customer #KYC protocols.

Simple things, like "Where is your business headquartered?" and "What legal form are you incorporated under?"...

I get a lot of people calling out my #Bitcoin skepticism (as in: Bitcoin is a worthless piece of hot garbage trying to kill our planet) because number is again going up. This time it's real, now that the scamers have been caught and all.
But if you want to know why Bitcoin goes up you just need to look at one curve: Tether has printed 4 billion USD from thin air in the last week.
While it's great to see the crypto scam artists SBF and CZ been caught and punished (sadly without making their victims whole) the actual rock that whole scam economy is built on is Tether. Has been Tether for years.
And I really don't get why US regulators let some weird company print fake USD.

IDGAF if a company or public intitution chose to use #Widows11 or #WindowsServer: They are inherently incapable of #GDPR & #BDSG compliamce andnthus should be illegal without any exceptions.
And yes, refusal to support diacritics and other "advanced latin" is just bad - espechally since it't not like with non-latin scripts where one could reasonanly argue the need for transcription.

Personally I'd not consider that a viable option unless a competitior offers a better and more compatible product without bs in their ToS since "#KYC" on SIM Cards has been weaponized for racist harrasment by providers!
Even wriring down the ID isn't allowed as that may be used in some cases...
There are very few cases where it's allowed due to #KYC requirements, and even that it's very restricted.
For example, a car rental may note down the driving license number, issue date and classes and one's legal adress from one's ID card, but not the number of said ID card...
That's why only banks that have high #KYC are even allowed to retain copies of ID documents in Germany...
At most, employers may ask one for an ID once just to verify that one is the person one claims to be when being hired, but beyond SSN [which is useless beyond paying into in Germany], Healthcare Insurance & -Number and Tax ID and legal adress there ain't anything employers can collect.
