open evening is on Monday evening.
We will be open from 19:30 until 22:00 to give folks who may be interested in what we do, and what facilities we can provide, a chance to come and have a look round and meet some of our members.
All are welcome. If you have ever wondered what we did to convert a derelict toilet into a hackspace, or what a "hackspace" is for that matter, come and have a look around.
If you like to create, make or craft things why not pay us a visit?
We have tools and equipment that cover a wide range of hobbies, crafts and technologies: woodwork, metalwork, electronics, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, sewing, 3D printing.....
Free tea, coffee and a biscuit or two.

I am about to make a simple automatic plant grow system, based on an ESP8266. Luckily I got a from Catnip Electronics https://wemakethings.net/chirp/ at which covers pretty much all of the parameters, I want to measure ^.^

@aral one small suggestion: you might want to create a ToastWrapper that's always in the page, because live regions should generally be present before sending updates

This is Sasha, another one of our recent patients.

A few weeks ago she was found in Grønland after being hit by a car.

She had a lot of blood under her wing, was unable to stand on her legs, and lost her balance. Some thought she'd have to be euthanised.

But she was lucky, it was a superficial wound with a lot of blood and the balance issues were due to a concussion. She recovered from the injuries and is now in the outside aviary training up those wings again ❤️

Sasha the young herring gull floating on the water in a plastic box in the shower. Her wing is no longer bandaged and she looks less miserable.
