I bricked my oneplus 6t (codename fajita) recently and have not yet been able to recover it. My current last resort seems to be using the MSMDownload Tool - but I don't have access to a windows machine (just linux & macos)
Does anyone have a link to good instructions how to unbrick my op6t without needing to install windows on my laptop?
#postmarketOS (and maybe #alpinelinux) users, how big is your apk cache? You can check the size using $ du -sh /var/cache/apk. Preferably this would be done on an installation you've been using for a while.
i feel like i get fairly regular messages from folks who are using @postmarketOS on their SDM845 device. If this is something you care about, please consider joining the testing team by adding your name here. We desperately need more validation before shipping kernel and device upgrades. Testing is fairly straightforward and usually safe - although you should take backups if you care about your data.
Running a #homeserver with a now #postmarketos, former #android phone. It's kinda cool to "upcycle" what would otherwise be an outdated, useless device.
Also I am glad to anounce my first contributions to #alpinelinux aports. German travelers using the german railway might enjoy using diebahn. It is already available on the testing aport so it is available to #postmarketos edge. Thanks to the developer of flare for this application!
I just tried the sensors on the OP6 with #postmarketos and #gnome-mobile. I am looking forward for this getting merged. Great work and thanks to @dylanvanassche for the hard work and @joelselvaraj making this work on the OP6!
Has anyone used the #PinePhonePro ? I am curious about it and how it handles for day to day use or I may just use it for a wifi device with #PostmarketOS
