#DIY#chair retrofit number 6. Less than happy with this one, I give it a B- because I lost twice at bobbin chicken, and some minor damage to the edges of the bottom because I was fighting putting it together last night in the dark in a tropical storm. The fix was I end to put some weight on the fixed central support arm between the rails to relax tension in the cloth while pulling it back on. #project
The Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law is looking to fill a position for a Local Legal Expert for the #maldives projects with thematic expertise on #restorativejustice and #transitionaljustice. ⚖ 🇲🇻
A #lane meant only for the #Autonomous#Rapid Transit (ART) system would be built along Jalan Sultan Tengah in #Kuching, linking the city to Pantai Damai.
The first phase involves the Mardi Roundabout up to the Santubong Bridge; the second phase involves the construction of the new Santubong Bridge; and the third phase from the bridge to Damai through the main #road in front of Kampung Santubong.
Ha, and yikes! The #fridge door fan switch (evaporator fan) on this #diy#project ends up is 120V AC. Could have used that to power this temperature controller rather than doing a 5V to 12V conversion. However, can't use the controller (directly) to power on/off the evaporator fan, like it is supposed to, because compressor on/off is 5VDC, fan on/off is 120VAC. #electronics (ps. this is why you don't touch those wires unless you check 'em first).
#diy#fridge controller replacement continues. 5V to 12V DC to DC converter. Adjusted to 12V. Electrical tape on the back, working on a big metal surface, LOL. #electronics#project#homebrew
Well, that worked! Ran it for a few minutes and instantly down below 70F. Compressor/controller working! Now to figure out the mounting of the controller. It actually fits the old controller hole but extends a few inches out. Thinking I will mount it there anyway and build out a protective housing on the outside with wood. Or mount on top. #project#diy#fridge#electronics
I'd like to remind all relevant law enforcement agencies that the guy who's about to be indicted again, probably twice, has access to this aircraft capable of departing the United States on short notice, destined for countries with regimes friendly to him.
@LOLRH1 PS. That his plane didn't accidentally experience a Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly (RUD) is the #1 evidence that the "Deep State" doesn't exist.
That he's still flying around in it is the #1 evidence that the "Deep Swamp" does exist.
I've been to the home-supply shop a few times in the last few weeks for a #project, and it reminded me of something I've never shared here.
Super Life Tip: any #product which says "#Professional" or "Contractor Grade" or anything similar on the packaging... isn't. Its just regular aimed-at-the-home-user crap, possibly with an inflated price tag.
Actual professional gear doesn't have to tell you it's professional; the pros can tell by using it.
Let's get this out of the way: they give a number of #reasons why #webservers "might wish" to establish that a web #client is running on a "#trusted" software stack, including things like "make sure other game players aren't cheating" and "ensure I'm talking to another human".
No open-source #project, non-commercial #browser, #community#organization, or virtually anyone else whose business isn't based on tracking, abusing, and selling web users is going to be able to stand up a service like that. It would be economically impossible.
Project for next week, hopefully. Two more (free) sling style chairs for re-slinging. Easy enough to re-do these. They will, however, be a different color, as it is past summer fabric season and I'm just buying the cheapest I can find. #patio#furniture#diy#refurb#project
Quick #weekend#project. Took this coffee #table--which was inside holding up a couple of fish tanks, and sanded the top down and put two coats of #Teak#oil on, so we can use this outdoors as #patio#furniture. Probably should have done the teak oil treatment before we used it for the fish tank, lots of water damage. Originally snagged for free off a curb freebie.
It's a good habit to check your browser's address bar. At the end of this #ipfs is and always will be the #hash "k2q". The correct hash means the correct content.
I don't want to sound too impatient, after all I am very grateful for Indie Stone and the massive amount of work they've put into delivering this amazing gem for us. I've also been around since 2015, so I'm no stranger to long wait times between amazing updates....
Anyone else having trouble picking up the game waiting on update 42?
