I slept last night with the aircon on & the ceiling fans going to circulate it. Still wasn’t really cool, which is how I sleep best, but better than if I’d had everything open. Woke at 4am & then opened the house up, including the front door & went back to bed until 6.30am. It’s going to be another warm one - 34c with storm warnings 😫.

5 years ago I gave up coca cola (and caffeine in general) and started meditating (usually to get me to sleep). I haven't relapsed or skipped a day since.

In particular, I struggle with "terminal #insomnia" which means I wake up early and can't fall back asleep.
I retired in July after 37 years in construction. I slept like a rock until it started getting cold at night (30F) or so. Now I cannot stay asleep no matter what I try. Grr
