Well it had an effect on me and my co-Directors. After having lovely days taking exercise, cycling in the sunshine and obviously keeping out of everyone's way:
Shut down our automation software company after 25+ years of trading. 50 hrs/week.
Got fitter, more into music and reading.
Got a part time job. 20 max hrs/week.
I'll never view the capitalist merry go round the same way again. Nor will I EVER trust a UK government of any stripe again. Fucking crooks
@andrewgregory I had measles. Get your children vaccinated. Don't believe anti-vax bullshit. This virus is dangerous and very contagious. Don't let's slide backwards. It'll be polio next. These diseases were virtually eradicated. Now, thanks to widespread dis-information, they will be disabling children all over again
Two weeks ago, spent £1400 on my small car getting new cam and oil pump belts. Preventative. This is more than my bike cost new.
Yesterday bike cost me £4 for a new rear tube. This would buy me a cheap air freshener for the car.
The only reason I keep a car is we don't have a working public transport system in UK. We can waste billions every year on vanity projects and corruption, but decent transport? No chance

"Cars" are a thing of the past. The real danger comes from "SUV" sports utility vehicles. Their drivers are in another world - high up, stereos blasting, screens the size of TVs to distract them.
Where's the 'sport' in careering round town, taking up two parking slots and ignoring any 'lesser' vehicles?
