I can't put my finger on what bothers me about Jonathan Pie.

Just tried watching his video about Huw Edwards, and while I agree with him, there's something about it that makes me not want to share it.

I guess it boils down to; he's a guy playing a character who rants about stuff that I sometimes agree with. There's a level of abstraction between the man and the message that makes it seem insincere. Like it falls into a centrist uncanny valley.

That's what it is.

He's the voice of 'common sense', but only if you're a standard middle ground centrist. He's long since stopped injecting any actual humour into his rants, so it's just become a few minutes of a guy angrily shouting about things that sometimes intersect with views I hold.

An entire thing about finding an effective app to help with tasks or scheduling is that even after you've found one, even after you've used it a bit and you feel that it really helps - you will inexplicably then forget it exists. Multiple times.

(This is legit funny and it's okay to laugh, but at the same time this kind of thing can really wear on the self-esteem of a person w/ ADD/ADHD, so be gentle and don't tease too hard when your friend is like, "Oh YEAH, I forgot I have that...")

One 'problem' with listening to lossless audio through decent headphones is that all the while I've been listening to this acoustic Rise Against album, there's been this low level noise that kinda sounds like the notification pop on here, and it's been driving me mad.

Just worked out it's the sound of a hand being moved down guitar strings.

Don't get that on mp3s through a bluetooth speaker, do you?

God, I really do hate to be that guy, and I really DON'T want to stand up for The Sun, but misinformation must be challenged...

The Sun didn't feature a countdown to Emma Watson OR Charlotte Church's 16th birthdays.

They are creepy though.

They printed topless photos of Sam Fox when she was 16. They ran Page 3 for decades.

EDIT: THIS WAS THE STAR

They actually printed a photo article about Charlotte Church having breasts WHEN SHE WAS 15.

But they didn't count down to her birthday...

It's worth noting that the countdown to Charlotte Church's 16th birthday does appear to have been real, but was a website set up by some guy which was reported on by a number of papers, The Sun among them.

Be certain though; if that nasty old cunt Murdoch thought he could have got away with it, he would have.

But remember, Sam Fox was 16 when her parents gave The Sun permission to print those photos.

And they lied about Hillsborough then doubled down on it when the truth started to come out.
