(1 of 2) So I got a new TV from Hisense last month, it has a screen defect that's pretty minor, and only noticeable in certain conditions. I love the TV the picture is gorgeous for the price.

Hisense replacement policy is to have a technician come to my house, use a screwdriver to scratch the panel to hell, have me take the broken TV to an e-waste facility, then either cut me a check if the TV isn't in stock or ship me a new one.

Absolutely INSANE.

Three new tests today

  1. Kids school drop off. 4G hotspot connection. Took about a minute and a half to connect to . Tried out . Game was playable but did notice some choppiness. Not ideal game for 4G speeds.

  2. At work. Work Wi-Fi blocked connection to my PS5. 😔

  3. 5G connection hotspot from my phone at work. Took about a minute to connect. Tried NHL24 again. Game play was seamless 😎🎮

More thoughts to come as I do more testing😀

Oh look. Just like Reddit, OpenSubtitles is going to limit their API and try and charge people for access. All their subtitles are user submitted and they have the testicles to try and profit from this content which often helps deaf people enjoy movies.

    @dnc I really liked Hello Fresh. I used them again recently post COVID and was surprised to see their prices haven't moved much. Then I noticed they are pushing way more premium meals that are twice the price. Also, they have significantly less sides with their entrees opting instead to sell them to you separately. I was really disappointed.
